My admiration knows no bounds for the incredible woman who raised me: my mom. She’s faced more challenges than many, from losing my dad in 2019 to navigating the turbulent waters of a global pandemic and the passing of my dear nan in 2022. But even before these trials, she grappled with the complexities of my epilepsy diagnosis during my teenage years, tirelessly seeking knowledge and support despite the uncertainty. I’ll admit, I wasn’t always the easiest teenager to deal with, but through it all, she remained a steadfast pillar of strength and love. Her resilience and unwavering determination inspire me daily, molding me into the strong person I am today.I am endlessly proud of my mum and I hope that I have got her strength. She always said to me you got to keep going when things get tough knock those walls down. Growing up was tough for me but having that support made a difference. Made me strong.
