Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the people who truly lift me up — the ones who make the hard days easier and the good days even better. Two people stand out more than anyone else: my husband and my mum. They are my constant sources of strength, love, and encouragement, each in their own special way.
My Husband: My Steady Rock
Right now, my husband is my absolute anchor. He’s always been supportive, but at the moment he has stepped into an even bigger role — one of pure strength and reassurance. No matter what I’m facing, he’s there to remind me that I amdoing the right thing, even when doubt creeps in.
His encouragement doesn’t just comfort me; it grounds me. He listens, he guides, and he gives me the space to figure things out while still letting me know I’m not alone. Having someone like that in your corner makes all the difference, and I’m so grateful for him.
My Mum: Heart of Gold
And then there’s my mum — the funniest, most caring, and most honest person I know. Her sense of humour can brighten any moment, and her honesty keeps me grounded in the best way. She has this huge, generous heart that she freely shares with everyone around her.
No matter what’s going on, she manages to bring warmth, clarity, and laughter into my life. She’s the type of person who supports you while still telling you the truth you need to hear — and that combination is rare and priceless.
Feeling Grateful
Right now, these two incredible people are my biggest blessings. They make me stronger, braver, and more hopeful every day. Having them in my life reminds me just how important it is to hold on to the people who truly care — the ones who show up, lift you up, and love you without conditions.
